I am pleased to announce the rediscovery of <strong>grooming</strong> for humans.<br>
My name is Daniel Laberge.<br>
I have been <strong>grooming</strong>, over six hours a day, for <strong>almost four years</strong>.<br>
So I’m proud to present the <strong>first</strong> human face with <strong>close to normal</strong>, healthy skin.</p>
<p class="style4">We were <strong>wrong</strong> about what other apes <strong>actually do</strong> when they groom.<br>
Grooming is the action of <strong>unfolding</strong> your skin with your <strong>nails</strong>.<br>
Your skin is <strong>folded</strong> and <strong>refolded</strong> millions of times, yet most folds are <strong>invisible</strong>.<br>
<strong>Primates</strong> have <strong>flat</strong> nails that are specifically designed to <strong>feel</strong> and <strong>open</strong> these folds.<br>
There are <strong>two</strong> ways to groom:<br>
-<strong>Single finger</strong> grooming<br>
-<strong>Four finger</strong> grooming</p>
<p class="style4">Several folds follow a <strong>vertical-horizontal</strong> grid.<br>
Long <strong>vertical</strong> folds go from <strong>head</strong> to <strong>toes</strong> while <strong>horizontal</strong> ones <strong>circle</strong> every part of your body.<br>
<strong>Other</strong> folds are the result of all the <strong>movements</strong>, <strong>positions</strong> and <strong>expressions</strong> you’ve held during your life.<br>
These folds are a <strong>problem</strong> by themselves, but things get worse where they <strong>meet</strong>: the <strong>fold crossings</strong>.<br>
These intersections keep on <strong>growing</strong> all your life and are the source of most of your <strong>aches</strong> and <strong>pains</strong>.<br>
<strong>Science</strong> was wrong about the <strong>location</strong> of most pain.<br>
Grooming proves its source is <strong>not below</strong> the skin but <strong>in the folds</strong> of the skin <strong>itself</strong>.</p>
<p class="style4">Now, grooming is <strong>not optional</strong>.<br>
You should have been grooming, about <strong>two hours a day</strong>, for all your life.<br>
Your <strong>lack</strong> of grooming has greatly influenced the way you <strong>look</strong> and <strong>feel</strong>.<br>
It explains several skin problems such as <strong>acne</strong>. <br>
Most <strong>headaches</strong>, <strong>backaches</strong>, pain in the <strong>feet</strong>, <strong>knees</strong>, <strong>hips</strong>, <strong>neck</strong>, <strong>articulations</strong>, etc. are due to a <strong>lack</strong> of grooming.<br>
As you <strong>age</strong>, the folding <strong>increases</strong> and causes several known <strong>illnesses</strong> and <strong>disabilities</strong> depending on its location.<br>
You <strong>face</strong> is about six times <strong>more</strong> folded than elsewhere.<br>
These folds have made you <strong>ugly</strong>.<br>
They are responsible for your <strong>facial traits</strong>.<br>
Grooming also changes our comprehension of <strong>aging</strong>, <strong>sensitivity</strong>, <strong>mobility</strong>, <strong>flexibility</strong> and <strong>health</strong> in general.</p>
<p class="style4">You use a combination of nail <strong>strokes</strong> to unfold the skin, <strong>sebum</strong> is released and serves as a <strong>lubricant</strong>.<br>
Don’t confuse <strong>grooming</strong> with <strong>scratching</strong>.<br>
Grooming is much <strong>slower</strong> and <strong>precise</strong>.<br>
Your nail puts a lot <strong>more pressure</strong> on your skin as you carefully <strong>remove the epidermis</strong> that keeps the folds bonded or forcibly <strong>open</strong> them.<br>
You can <strong>only</strong> apply pressure on the folds and their crossings.<br>
Applying such pressure <strong>elsewhere</strong> would <strong>harm</strong> the skin and cause <strong>blood</strong> to flow.<br>
<strong>As soon</strong> as you strike blood, <strong>stop</strong> grooming that place until it <strong>heals</strong>.</p>
<p class="style4">Grooming is done <strong>without looking</strong> and you <strong>cannot</strong> groom someone else correctly.<br>
You're supposed to react to <strong>any itch or pain</strong> with tactile <strong>exploration</strong>. <br>
Your nail is guided by a <strong>pleasure</strong> I have called “<strong>unpain</strong>” because it is the <strong>contrary</strong> of the pain that was there.<br>
Since you’ve <strong>never</strong> groomed, your skin is in <strong>very bad</strong> condition and grooming <strong>can</strong> be painful.<br>
Grooming is a <strong>healing</strong> process but it is long and slow. You <strong>might worsen</strong> your pain temporarily.<br>
Practice on your <strong>arms</strong>, <strong>legs</strong> and <strong>head</strong> before working on your <strong>torso</strong>.</p>
<p class="style4">Grooming is <strong>100% natural</strong>, using <strong>God-given</strong> tools.</p>

-<strong>Notice</strong> that when your nail reaches the <strong> deepest</strong> pockets of the fold, a <strong>pleasurable</strong> feeling appears.<br>
-<strong>That's</strong> unpain, <strong>that's</strong> your guide.</span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Fold crossings </span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4">-<strong>Visually</strong> inspect the fold you're working on.<br>
-Observe where <strong>other</strong> folds <strong>intersect</strong> with it.<br>
-These are <strong>fold crossings</strong>.<br>
-Spot the <strong>biggest</strong> crossing you can find and <strong> put</strong> your nail into it.<br>
-Slowly <strong>dig</strong> and <strong>open</strong> the cavern.<br>
-You should feel <strong>lots</strong> of unpain, its source being in the <strong>deepest</strong> sections of the crossing.<br>
-Follow the fold to the <strong>next</strong> crossing and groom it. <strong>Repeat</strong>.<br>
-Generally, you should groom the crossings <strong>ten times longer </strong>than the rest of the fold. </span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Going blind </span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4">-Try <strong>following</strong> a fold with your nail <strong>without looking.</strong><br>
-As you go, feel <strong>each</strong> <strong>crossing</strong> you meet and the <strong>unpain</strong> you get from it.<br>
-This is the <strong>normal</strong> way to groom: without looking.</span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Unfolding</span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4">-Actively work your nail at the <strong>bottom</strong> of the fold, doing the necessary <strong>moves</strong> to unfold it.<br>
-You can <strong>stay</strong> several minutes at the <strong>same</strong> spot.</span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Workspace tension </span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4">-As you groom, try opening and closing your <strong> hand</strong>.<br>
-Observe the <strong>difference</strong> on your grooming performance.<br>
-When grooming <strong>elsewhere</strong>, you often have to use your <strong>second hand</strong> to <strong>stabilize</strong> the workspace or to create an<strong> opposite force</strong> to your grooming hand, <strong>squeezing</strong> the skin. </span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Grooming everywhere </span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4">-Your newly acquired skills can now be transposed <strong>anywhere</strong> on your body.<br>

<p align="left" class="style4">I can understand <strong>skeptics</strong>, being one <strong>myself</strong>.<br>
I advise them to <strong>try</strong> grooming before talking <strong>against</strong> it.<br>
The two main reasons for <strong>not</strong> trying it are:<br>
-Thinking you're <strong>not</strong> an <strong>animal</strong>.<br>
-Being <strong>scared</strong> to put your nails <strong>into</strong> your skin. <br>
Make the effort, <strong>let your nails grow</strong>. Try it.<br>
You will soon stop doubting <strong>me</strong>.<br>
What you won’t <strong>believe</strong> is just how folded <strong>you</strong> are.</p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">The wrong reaction to pain </span></p>
<p align="left" class="style4">Suppose you do a movement <strong>repeatedly</strong> such as moving your arm <strong>up</strong> and <strong>down</strong>.<br>
After a while, <strong>pain</strong> will appear at a <strong>specific place</strong>.<br>
You <strong>obviously</strong> think that the pain is <strong>muscular</strong>.<br>
Well, <strong>revise</strong> your thinking, the pain is <strong>in</strong> the skin.<br>
<strong>Put</strong> your nail into <strong>that</strong> spot. Slowly <strong>explore</strong> and <strong>dig</strong>.<br>
You will feel <strong>unpain</strong>, let it <strong>guide</strong> you.<br>

You’re <strong>walking</strong> around and your <strong>knee</strong> starts hurting?<br>
You’re supposed to <strong>stop</strong> and <strong>groom the pain away</strong>.</p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">What is unpain </span></p>
<p align="left"><span class="style4"><strong>Everyone</strong> knows this pleasure I have called “<strong>unpain</strong>”.<br>
It’s the feeling you get when your <strong>back is itching badly</strong> and your nail reaches the <strong>right</strong> spot.<br>
You go “<strong>Ahhhhhhhh</strong>”. <strong>That’s</strong> unpain.<br>
At <strong>that</strong> point, your <strong>actions</strong> go <strong>wrong</strong>.<br>
You <strong>scratch</strong>.<br>
Scratching is <strong>all</strong> what mammals with <strong>claws</strong> can do, and still, they’re <strong>lucky</strong> compared to those with <strong>hooves</strong>.<br>
You’re supposed to <strong>slowly explore the skin</strong> with your <strong>nail</strong> and <strong>fingertip</strong>.<br>
Doing so would reveal <strong>folds in your skin</strong> that you <strong>cannot</strong> see.<br>
</span><span class="style4">During your <strong>first</strong> grooming strokes, unpain <strong>anesthetizes</strong> the skin.<br>
After that it blossoms into a <strong>pleasure</strong> and its <strong>intensity</strong> depends on <strong>how</strong> <strong>close</strong> you are to the <strong>source</strong> of the pain. <br>
Unpain is what <strong>pushes</strong> monkeys to groom.</span></p>
<p align="center"><span class="style15">Why the folds are invisible </span></p>
<p align="left" class="style4"><strong>Most</strong> of the folding cannot be seen because it is made of <strong>epidermis</strong> over <strong>epidermis</strong>.<br>
Even a microscope would reveal only <strong>epidermis cells</strong>.<br>
To your ultra-sensitive <strong>nails</strong> and <strong>fingertips</strong> though, the folds are like <strong>valleys</strong> and <strong>canyons</strong>.</p></td>

<strong>Since then</strong>, primates spend <strong>considerable</strong> time <strong>grooming</strong>.<br>
We thought it consisted of <strong>parasite</strong> removal and the kind of duties <strong>we</strong> do in front of a <strong>mirror</strong>. This is only <strong>partly</strong> true.<br>
I have found out, by <strong>doing it</strong> myself, that the <strong>bulk</strong> of their grooming activities is aimed at <strong>unfolding</strong> their skin.<br>
Now, this task is <strong>complicated</strong> and they do the best <strong>they</strong> can.</span><span class="style2"><br>

<td width="390" align="left" valign="top" class="style4">Grooming is one of <strong>life’s necessities</strong> for primates, like <strong>eating</strong>, <strong>drinking</strong> or <strong>sleeping</strong>. It’s just that the <strong>punishment</strong> for not doing it comes at a <strong>slower </strong>pace.<br>
As far as I know, humans are the <strong>only</strong> primate species that <strong>does not groom</strong> and this leads me to conclude that we <strong>have stopped</strong> grooming at some point in our <strong>evolution</strong>.<br>
Well, this was one of the <strong>worst</strong> decisions our <strong>race</strong> has ever taken.<br>
We probably thought it was too <strong>animal-like</strong>.<br>
We <strong>pay</strong> for it through <strong>pain</strong> and <strong>aging</strong>.</td>
