Real beauty vs artificial beauty

Being attracted to beauty is normal and natural, but appreciating fake beauty is a mental issue.

Humans are so drawn to beauty that they have been trying to imitate it for millennia.
At first, they weren't too good at it.
But now, humans can create artificial beauty that compares with, or surpasses, that found in the natural world.

Devaluing artificial beauty

These days, if we want to evaluate beauty, one has to take artificiality into account.
Fake products, costumes, accessories, and make-up may be beautiful, but their good-looks are lifeless and prefabricated.
They are merely imitations.

So, how should you react to artificial beauty?

Can you compare the beauty of these flowers without somehow devaluing the ones on the left?

Your attraction to artificial beauty is only superficial, and it often shows your naivety.
If you knew how it was fabricated, your evaluation of it would go way down.
Fake beauty does not withstand close scrutiny.
So, every time you encounter artificial beauty, you must mentally devalue it.

Do you adorn yourself with artificial beauty?

Faced with the need and obligation to be beautiful, most people resort to artificial solutions to remedy their situation.
They hide their bodies behind sumptuous clothes and dazzling cosmetics, or worse, they ornate them with sparkling jewelry or colorful tattoos.

If you want to enhance your beauty, any improvements you make should be done by working directly on your body, not by hiding it behind prefabricated accessories.
Grooming provides a natural and free approach to aesthetic correction.

If not, why wear them?

Is your beauty real or fake?

Only the beauty of your nude body and face is admissible.

If your personal style and your beauty come from;
• Wearing clothes,
• Hats, glasses, sunglasses, ...
• Jewelry,
• Make-up,
• Artificial creams and products,
• Plastic surgery,
• Cosmetic injections,
• Body building,
• Tattooing and piercing,
• Nail polish and lipstick,
• ...
then, your beauty is fake, and that makes a fake out of you.

Boycott fake beauty

When you see artificial beauty; you shouldn't appreciate it, you should denounce it.
Say, "This is all fake, I'm not impressed."
On the other hand, savor true, natural beauty when you see it, and seek it out in your personal life.

When it comes to human contact, artificial beauty creates a barrier.
Who wants to kiss lips covered with lipstick?
Who wants to touch skin buried beneath a coat of foundation makeup?

I personally try to boycott people who hide behind fake beauty.

The 3 steps to (artificial) beauty for women

Most women are convinced they become more attractive by following these three rules, and they wouldn't leave home without them.

THE RACCOON EYES

Generally, women find human eyes unattractive.
They prefer the eyes of the raccoon.

Some women find their raccoon eyes so essential, that they go for permanent makeup.

THE CLOWN LIPS

Human lips are unsightly.
They must be covered with colored goo to be pretty.

THE FOUNDATION MASK

Even if you disguise your eyes and your lips, you must also hide the skin of your face.
The mask must be thick enough to be obvious and noticeable to everyone you meet.

The foundation mask kills your expressiveness.

I find that makeup uglies people more than it beautifies them.

Three steps to (artificial) beauty for men

Many men are convinced they become more attractive by following these three rules, and they wouldn't leave the house without them.

THE GREASY HAIR

Several men think that human hair is unsightly.
They prefer the artificial look of sculpted, dirty hair.

The grease in your hair makes you look like a cartoon character, but no woman would run her fingers through it.

THE BASEBALL CAP AND T-SHIRT

Baseball caps and t-shirts are un-sexy.
I believe they were invented by women who didn't want their partners to be attractive to other women.

THE SLAVE SUIT

Nothing is more servile than wearing a two or three-piece suit with a symbolic leash around your neck.
It proves your artificiality, and your submission.

Fabricated aesthetics and brainwashed people

Even if we go back several millennia, the aesthetics of the masses have been directed by their rulers.
These days, people are bombarded directly by advertising, and indirectly by movies, TV shows, music videos, ...
A small number of people decide our tastes and our fashion.
These profiteers only want to make money, and keep on making it.
Their opinion on beauty has no more value than yours or mine, so stop giving them credibility by buying their products.

Beautiful objects - Aesthetics versus functionality

Today, aesthetics apply to all aspects of life including the objects that we use in our daily activities, such as: cars, toasters, watches, houses, furniture, ...
This practice has even extended to the world of computing, where people prefer beautiful software to functional software.
Those are domains where aesthetics should be relegated to a less important role.
Functionality is essential, and it should not be sacrificed for the sake of beauty.
We want a control knob to be the right size, in the right place, easy to use, readily visible, ...
Aesthetics should come in last.

The future of aesthetics

I can easily picture humans of the next centuries laughing their heads off when looking at images of the present times.
I sincerely believe that the artificiality in which we currently live will soon become obvious to everyone.
But, to get there, we must first put an end to the brainwashing.
